Meghalaya: They were last seen on September 20th at their residence
In a heart-wrenching development, the lifeless bodies of two young individuals, who had mysteriously disappeared from their homes over two weeks ago, have been discovered in a forest within the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding their tragic demise.
The victims have been identified as Phibankyntiew Sun, an 18-year-old girl, and Walambok Kurbah, a 20-year-old boy. Both hailed from Marbisu village, situated in the Mawphlang sub-division of the district. The last known sighting of the pair was at their residence on September 20, at approximately 5 pm.

Sources reveal that the lifeless bodies of these two youths were located within the confines of a dense forest in the Traw Saitkhlieh region of the district. Shockingly, Phibankyntiew’s remains were discovered on Tuesday, October 3rd, while the body of Walambok was found the following morning, October 4th, upstream from the initial discovery site.
