A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawan, identified as Gautam Das (40) hailing from Kulhati in Kamrup, Assam, tragically passed away in Jammu and Kashmir.
The untimely demise occurred after he tested positive for the deadly dengue fever while on active duty in the region.
Gautam Das, who had dedicated his life to serving the nation, was diagnosed with dengue a few days ago during his deployment in Jammu and Kashmir.
Following the diagnosis, he was promptly admitted to a local hospital, where he underwent treatment in an attempt to combat the severe infection. Unfortunately, despite the medical care he received, he succumbed to the illness.

In a solemn ceremony, Mr Das’s body was airlifted back to his hometown in Kulhati, Assam. Friends, family members, and fellow CRPF personnel paid their last respects as they mourned his loss. The last rites were performed with honours, honouring his service to the nation.

Gautam Das is survived by his wife, two daughters, and extended family, who are left devastated by his sudden passing. The entire nation mourns the loss of a brave CRPF Jawan who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
