Firefighting efforts were strengthened after the Army mobilised a water bowser from its field hospital, supplying continuous water to help douse the blaze.

The coordinated response among Army, Air Force and ITBP personnel enabled quick containment of the fire under challenging conditions.

All civilians were safely accounted for and no critical injuries were reported, officials said in an initial assessment issued after the operation.

The incident has been cited as a reminder of the importance of joint response mechanisms and civil–military cooperation in remote and high-risk areas.

An official communication noted that the effort reflected the forces’ commitment to stand by local communities “even amidst adversity.”
