The forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya inaugurates the 7th Wildlife Week program at Assam State Zoo today.
Wildlife Week will be held in the state from October 2 to October 6.
The Forest Department celebrates the first day as Elephant Day in keeping with Wildlife Week.

On the occasion of Wildlife Week, the forest Minister announced that the zoo will open for visitors from today.

A procession on the occasion of Wildlife Week was also taken out from the State Zoo to Jonali where forest Minister Parimal Shukalya Vaidya took part.
