Many parts of Andhra Pradesh are devastated in the recent floods. A total of 1,316 villages have been inundated or affected by flooding.
Meanwhile, NDRF & SDRF along with local police are working tirelessly for the rescue of the flood victims.
Unfortunately one SDRF jawan sacrificed his life during a rescue operation.
Kella Srinivasa Rao, a constable of 5th Battalion of State Disaster Response Force lost his life on saturday.

He drowned while trying to save villagers stranded in the floods in Damaramadugu village of Buchireddypalem mandal on Saturday morning, the Andhra police tweeted.
