Aizawl, Oct 16 (News Desk) : Rajeev Dua, a Gold Medalist from IIT Roorkee and an officer of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) commissioned in 1992, has assumed charge as Chief Engineer of Project Pushpak from Shri Girish Prasad Singh on September 27, 2025.

Dua, who has an exemplary service record, was earlier Chief Engineer (Research & Development Establishment) at Shillong from August 2024 to September 21, 2025. He was promoted to the rank of Chief Engineer in August 2024.
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to infrastructure development, Dua was awarded a Government Commendation Card in 2002 for completing eight minor bridges on NH-54 and a 285-metre-long PSC Box Girder Bridge over the Kaladan River within schedule. He also played a key role in finalising major decisions for completion of the Lohit, Dalai and Pasighat bridges.
Project Pushpak, which operates in Mizoram and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, is tasked with developing strategic road infrastructure across challenging terrains. The project oversees 24 BRTFs (including two RCCs) in Mizoram and 46 BRTFs (including one RCC) in the islands, and also handles legacy issues inherited from the erstwhile Project Setuk.
Known for his technical acumen and leadership, Dua has prioritised timely completion of all ongoing road projects under Project Pushpak.
