Guwahati, May 15: A female Home Guard in Assam has been suspended following a viral video showing her embracing and touching the feet of popular Assamese singer Zubeen Garg during a concert.
The home gurard, Mili Prabha Chutia, was on duty at the “Basant Utsav” concert in Dibrugarh’s Chabua when the incident occurred.
The video captured Chutia unexpectedly joining Garg on stage during his performance. Authorities suspended Chutia, citing negligence and misconduct while on duty.
