Royal Global University chancellor inducted into Hall of Fame for contributions to education
Guwahati, October 14 : Dr. A. K. Pansari, Chancellor of The Assam Royal Global University (RGU) and Chairman of Royal Global School, Guwahati, has been conferred the EducationWorld Extraordinary Achievement in Education Leadership Award 2025–26 in recognition of his sustained contributions to education, social welfare, and cultural harmony in Northeast India.
The award was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi organised by EducationWorld in association with the EW India School Rankings Awards (ISRA).
Expressing gratitude, Dr. Pansari said, “This recognition by EducationWorld is a reflection of our collective commitment to redefining the learning experience and empowering young minds to lead with knowledge, integrity, and compassion.” Alongside the award, he was inducted into the EducationWorld Hall of Fame of Indian Education, an honour reserved for leaders who have made a transformative impact on the national education landscape.
From a successful chartered accountant to an educationist, Dr. Pansari has built institutions that combine academic excellence with human values. The Royal Group currently educates over 13,000 students with 950 faculty members, offering multidisciplinary programs from kindergarten to PhD.
Beyond academics, Dr. Pansari’s philanthropic efforts through the Gyan Sagar Foundation—the social arm of the Royal Group—include large-scale food distribution drives under “Royal Anna Seva,” free medical services, and COVID-19 relief initiatives benefiting thousands.
The EducationWorld Extraordinary Achievement Awards celebrate visionary leaders driving innovation and excellence in Indian education. This year’s ceremony brought together eminent educationists, policymakers, and institutional heads from across the country, highlighting the role of leadership in shaping the nation’s learning ecosystem.
