Albert Gitta Hails from Assam’s Dibrugarh District
A migrant worker from Assam has become a crorepati overnight after winning the first prize of Rs 10 crore in the Kerala Summer Bumper Lottery 2023 BR-90. The lucky winner is Albert Gitta, who works as an assistant for Malayalam film actor Rajini Chandy at her house in Kochi.
Albert bought the ticket with the number SE 222282 from a lottery agency and was informed about his win on Sunday evening. He submitted his ticket to a bank in Kochi and completed the necessary process to claim his prize. He said he was overjoyed and grateful for his fortune.

Gitta will get more than Rs 6.5 crore after deducting taxes. The ticket price was Rs 250.
Albert hails from the Dibrugarh district of Assam and came to Kerala in 1995 looking for work. He has been working for Rajini Chandy, who is known for her films such as ‘Oru Muthassi Gadha’ and ‘Gandhinagaril Unniyarcha’, for many years. Rajini said that Albert was a loyal and hardworking employee and she was happy for him.

The second prize of Rs 50 lakh went to ticket number SB 152330, which was also sold in the Ernakulam district. The third prize of Rs 5 lakh, the fourth prize of Rs 1 lakh and other consolation prizes were also announced by the state lottery department on Sunday.
The Kerala Summer Bumper Lottery is one of the most popular lotteries in the state, with tickets priced at Rs 250 each. The draw was held at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram on March 19.
