Fake Currency, Fake Gold Seized
The Nagaon Police has cautioned people against an organised cheating gang peddling fake currency notes.
According to police, the modus operandi of the gang is to approach gullible people, especially traders, and offer them fake currencies by showing them videos and photos of currencies.
Once the person agrees to buy the fake currencies, they will set up a meeting at secret places and as soon as the buyer approaches with original currencies, he will be looted of his money.

The Nagaon Police has now arrested one Faruk Hussain of Alisinga village under Jagirod Police Station of Morigaon district along with his gang.

Another Thug dealing in Fake Currency & Fake Gold Arrested by Nagaon police.
He is identified as Saddam Hussain of Vill Ramani Pothar, Kachua. Fake Currency making machine, Fake printed currency and Fake Gold seized from his possession.
The operation was led by Additional SP (HQ).
The Nagaon Police regretted the fact that well off people and many seemingly educated are seen falling in the trap.
The police said many such gangs are active in the district and urged the people to alert the police in case anyone approaches the with fake currency promises.
