Team Project Humanity Distributes Meals To The Homeless People in The City Streets

GUWAHATI: The Project Humanity team reaches out to around 50 homeless people living nearby Shukleswar, Guwahati with a package of meals on Monday. Each package contained pulao, egg curry and a bottle of water.

Project Humanity, as its name suggests, is an umbrella platform aimed towards the causes of humanity, under which the maiden initiative of distribution of food essentials was done to the COVID victims with the help of public donations during the peak time of the second wave of COVID-19 this year.

With the amounts of funds remaining that we had raised during the Corona crisis this year, now although the crisis is gone for good, we come forward to utilize it for the neediest, the homeless ones, said a member of the team.

Among the members of the team present in the campaign were Rupjyoti Khaklari, Karun Lama, Angkrita Gogoi, and Debasish Bora. Throughout the distribution campaign, Anurag Barman, a resident of Chandmari, selflessly supported and contributed his bid for the cause.
