Rima Trishna Haloi is Posted as Kokrajhar’s Assistant Commissioner
Guwahati/Kokrajhar, November 27: In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Rima Trishna Haloi, the Assistant Commissioner cum Executive Magistrate of Kokrajhar, Assam, has once again brought laurels to her state and the nation.
Haloi clinched a gold medal in kumite and a bronze in kata at the prestigious ‘All India Kanninjuku Open Karate Championship 2023’, held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on November 25 and 26.
This victory is not an isolated achievement for Haloi. In December 2022, she secured a bronze medal at the ‘Super Gold Karate League’ in New Delhi, further solidifying her position as a formidable athlete in the Indian karate circuit.
Her accolades also include a bronze medal in the All-India Delhi Police Karate Championship and two silver medals in the National Shotokan Karate Championship held in Maharashtra. A holder of the Black Belt in Karate, Haloi’s journey in martial arts is a testament to her dedication and perseverance.

She joined Assam Civil Service, on February 2, 2021. Born on December 20, 1992, she has demonstrated her commitment to public service from a young age. As a female officer from Assam, hailing specifically from the Kamrup Metro district, she embodies the diversity and local representation in civil services.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree, Rima Trishna Haloi has progressed to the role of Block Development Officer. Her career includes substantive roles such as Assistant Commissioner in Kokrajhar and Block Development Officer in Mahamaya.
Her tenure as Assistant Commissioner began on July 14, 2021, and she transitioned to the role of Block Development Officer in Mahamaya on November 29, 2021.
