Kohima, December 9, 2023: In a night filled with glamour and cultural showcase, 19-year-old Neiketuno Sechu was crowned Miss Nagaland 2023 at the Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima. The event, which celebrated beauty, intelligence, and cultural diversity, saw Sechu triumph over several contestants to clinch the coveted title.
A Night of Elegance and Pride
The ceremony began with a vibrant display of traditional Naga attire, followed by rounds featuring evening gowns and talent showcases. The contestants, each representing different aspects of Nagaland’s rich heritage, displayed poise and grace, making the decision tough for the esteemed panel of judges.

Additionally, she was honored with the sub-title of Miss Perfect Ten.
The title of the first runner-up was awarded to Miss Vimgha Sheqi, the reigning Miss Sumi, while the second runner-up was Miss Ilihika Aye, the reigning Miss Dimapur. Both women displayed exceptional talent and were celebrated for their achievements.
The event was further graced by the presence of Miss Nagaland 2022, Miss Hikali Achumi, and her runners-up, Miss Kenei Ritse and Miss Jentiren. Their presence underscored the continuity and prestige of the Miss Nagaland pageant.
