HSLC Exam 2023: Assamese Paper Leak Revealed
The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has postponed the Class 10 HSLC exams for MIL and English (IL) subjects scheduled for March 18 after an arrested accused in the General Science question paper leak case confessed that the Assamese paper was also leaked.
The General Science question paper of the Class 10 state board exam was leaked on Sunday night and sold for up to Rs 3,000 on WhatsApp, according to Director General of Police GP Singh. The exam scheduled on Monday was canceled and rescheduled for March 30.
The state CID, which is investigating the case, has so far apprehended 25 people, including children, from various parts of Assam, besides interrogating several others to identify the source of the leak.
SEBA has informed me that as advised by HCM @CMOfficeAssam , the exam of all MIL subjects, including English (IL) of HSLC scheduled for 18 March, will be rescheduled. The new date will be announced tomorrow.@himantabiswa

Assam’s Education Minister, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, tweeted about the decision to postpone the MIL and English (IL) exams. He said that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma advised him to reschedule the exam of all MIL subjects, including English (IL) of HSLC. He said that the new date would be announced on 17th March.
