Pasighat, Sept 26 : As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 campaign, the Border Roads Organisation’s Project Brahmank conducted a cleanliness drive covering roughly 2 km from the HQ CE (P) Brahmank location to the Raneghat bridge, including the bridge’s 764-metre span. Officers, JCOs/supervisors and other personnel joined the “Ek Ghanta, Ek Din, Ek Saath” programme to clear litter along the busy tourist corridor.

The BRO said the effort refreshed the stretch frequented by visitors year-round and drew appreciation from local residents. The activity was also featured by local media too.
Following the drive, the Chief Engineer used local media channels to highlight the link between cleanliness, tourism and economic well-being, appealing to citizens to participate regularly and to build cleanliness into daily habits. Nineteen photographs documenting the event were enclosed with the report.
