Air Marshal DK Patnaik, Air Officer, Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command visited Air Force Stations Tezpur and Missamari from November 30 to December 1 along with Mrs Anuradha Patnaik, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), said a Defense press release in Tezpur, Assam.
The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief also visited the Advance Landing Ground (ALG) at Ziro where he reviewed the infrastructure of ALG and interacted with the air warriors.
During his visit to the two Air Force Stations, the Air Marshal was briefed on the ongoing modern infrastructure development projects aimed at enhancing the combat potential of the bases.
Air Marshal DK Patnaik addressed and interacted with the station personnel at the bases and directed them to maintain high standards of operational readiness.

He also met Arunachal Pradesh Governor B. D. Mishra at Rajbhavan & briefed him regarding the Air Force Fighter Pilots’ firing training at various ranges. He also briefed him about the futuristic IAF operational activities in Arunachal Pradesh.
