Arunachal Pradesh: Indian Army hosts outreach for youth in Menchuka

Segong, Sept 16 : The Indian Army on Monday organised an outreach programme titled “A Day with Company Commander” at Segong, Menchuka in Arunachal Pradesh to strengthen ties with local communities and inspire youth to consider careers in the Armed Forces.

About 100 young participants from remote villages attended the event, which featured interactive sessions on Army life, career guidance, physical fitness and leadership. They were also given equipment familiarisation, a guided tour of military facilities and an overview of a soldier’s daily routine by the Company Commander.

Soldiers engaged the youth in sports and team-building activities, further fostering camaraderie and trust.

The initiative, the Army said, was aimed at motivating the younger generation to embrace discipline, patriotism and service to the nation, while also reinforcing civil–military cooperation in border areas.

The enthusiastic participation of local youth, officials noted, reflected their patriotic spirit and the enduring bond between the Army and the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
