Anini (Arunachal Pradesh), Oct 20 : The Dibang Badminton Tournament 2025, organised by the Dao Division under the aegis of Spear Corps as part of Operation Sadbhavana, concluded with spirited participation and enthusiasm in Anini, Dibang Valley.
The tournament featured matches across several categories and saw active participation from local youth, school students and sports enthusiasts from the valley. The finals drew large crowds, and winners were felicitated with trophies, goodies and cash prizes in recognition of their performance and sportsmanship.
Beyond the competition, the event served as a platform to promote friendship and mutual respect between the Indian Army and the local community.
The Army, through Operation Sadbhavana, continues to promote sports, youth engagement and community development in remote border areas. The Dibang Badminton Tournament stood out as a celebration of unity and the strengthening of civil–military bonds in the region.
