Assam Rifles Longding Battalion in a joint operation with Arunachal Police apprehended a hard core millitant of NSCN (IM) from Longphong village in Longding District on Saturday.
Based on specific input, Security Forces with State Police launched a joint operation in Longphong village.
During cordon and search of the suspected houses, the hardc ore militant of NSCN (IM) was apprehended.
The apprehended insurgent has been handed over to Longding Police Station, for further investigation.
