Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), Nov 11 : The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps visited Anini and forward air-maintained posts under Dao Division in Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, to assess operational preparedness, logistics sustenance and troop morale in the challenging high-altitude region of Eastern Arunachal Pradesh.

During the visit, the Corps Commander observed live demonstrations by the Kill Box and Ashni Platoon—specialised combat teams showcasing integrated “hard kill” and “soft kill” responses to hostile drone threats. The exercise highlighted the Army’s enhanced capability in counter-drone warfare, blending advanced technology with tactical precision to strengthen battlefield resilience.

Interacting with the troops, the GOC lauded their professionalism and dedication despite harsh climatic and terrain conditions.
