The Nagaon Police busted an illegal Aadhaar card centre and arrested three persons in this connection from Koliabor area of Nagaon district in Assam.
It is learnt that the trio used to collect Rs.1500 from those wanting an Aadhaar card though the government issues the card free of cost.
The three-member gang of fake Aadhaar card makers were caught red-handed by the Misa Police from the house of one Jasmine Sultana of Misa Hatbagan.
The Police also seized items related to Aadhaar card preparation.
The arrested persons were identified as Lutfur Rahman, Nurul Islam and Aftab Hussain
