The ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal on Tuesday launched the manifesto for Tripura civic polls.
Addressing a press conference, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sukendu Sekhar Ray said that TMC had planned a nine-point agenda for Tripura and termed it as ‘Agartalar Jonno Nabaratna’ (Nine gems for Agartala).
“If the Trinamool Congress is voted to power to run the Agartala Municipal Corporation, the first thing we will do is to make sure there are no taxes on water supply and also water ATMs across Tripura,” said Ray.
.@AITC4Tripura recognises that access to basic amenities is the key to unlocking Agartala's potential.

Speaking about the other ‘development’ that TMC would take up in Tripura, the MP said that taxes of different sections will be withdrawn so that the poor are not deprived.
