The body of Suman Swargiary, one of the Assam Rifles martyrs of Saturday’s ambush in Manipur, will be brought to his residence at Barama-Thekarkuchi in Baksa district on Sunday.
He was the driver of the vehicle which was ambushed by a group of Manipuri-Naga militants in which seven people died including the Commanding Officer, His wife and minor son.

A pall of gloom spread in the area as the news of his death reached.
He was about to come home on December 5 on the birthday of his son.
He talked to his family on Friday before the ambush.
It may be mentioned here that his father was also killed by militants few years ago.
