Arunachal Pradesh Trader Body’s Ultimatum To State Govt.
DESK: The Arunachal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACC) issued 48 hours ultimatums to the State Government on Friday.
They threatened to go for non-cooperation movement by 72 hours shutter down of business establishment within the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) if the government does not fulfill their demands.
Addressing the media person, ACCI General Secretary Toko Tatung said that the state government headed by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein during a meeting had assured to constitute a committee to look into their demands.
He said,” During the meeting, we were assured that the issue of renewal of trading licenses would be addressed soon.
But, till today there is no notification issued by the state government on it because of which many business communities is confused how and when to renew their trading license.”
He requested the Chief Minister Pema Khandu to look into the matter seriously as the business community of the state has been facing many problems due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
